Parent/Guardian/Adult Information Sessions
Registration for the 26th Annual Chameleon’s Journey Fall Overnight Grief Camp will open in just a few weeks, and we can’t wait to welcome your camper(s)! Our team has been thoughtfully planning since last October, ensuring both the quality of our grief support sessions and opportunities for fun. We recognize that camp may bring about a series of questions including what to pack or how the schedule might run. Who will be my camper(s) counselors? What safety plans do you have in place? How exactly does registration operate? We get it; it can be a lot, especially when you are trying to navigate your own grief journey.
Parents/Guardians/Adults – we are here for you! This starts with an opportunity to join us virtually for an optional information session hosted by our Executive Steering Committee where we will provide details related to camp and answer all of your questions. This same session will be offered twice – the first one on August 17 at 7pm and the second on September 23 at 7pm. These sessions will be identical in nature and hosted over Microsoft Teams (and only for adults). If you navigate to the Camp Events section on our website, you will find an invitation to RSVP. Simply provide your name and e-mail, and we will follow-up with the virtual Teams link. Events links are also included below.
We look forward to greeting you at one of our virtual team sessions. If you are unable to attend on either date, feel free to give us a call at 704.375.0100 with your questions. Attendance is not required to be eligible for camp.
